Wateroak Farm goat milk yogurt is made from part
skim goat milk. The milk is pasteurized and then cooled rapidly
to the incubation temperature. The cultures are then added. These
consist of Lactobacillus bulgaricus, S. Thermophilus, L. Acidophilus,
Bifidobacterium longum, and Bifidobacterium infantis.
The yogurt produced is more of a pourable consistency with a
softer set than commercial yogurt. There are no additives or
preservatives in our yogurt. It is strictly milk and cultures.
The yogurt is packaged in plastic pint containers with a screw
on lid.
